Today’s offering is for Religious Liberty. It sponsors Liberty magazine as a gift to our nation’s leaders.
“I read Liberty magazine regularly. Every month I leaf through it and tear out the articles I want to read.” said Dave Cox, minority leader in the California State Assembly.
In the past year, Liberty magazine has seized on the issues arising from the 9-1 -1 terrorist attacks, exploring the implications of those attacks for the civil rights and religious freedom of all Americans; and has addressed spiritual issues, like why God would permit such a tragedy. Because Liberty is timely and relevant, it is widely read.
Liberty is the Adventist Church’s only ministry designed especially for our leaders. With your generous support, we are able to send Liberty magazine to political leaders throughout the United States, which include every representative in Congress and the state legislatures, every judge, and many local political leaders as well as leaders in Canada and Bermuda. We also send Liberty to attorneys, journalists, clergy, libraries, and educators.
When the world faces its date with destiny, and religious freedom becomes a front-page story, don’t you want your leaders educated on religious liberty issues by our own Liberty magazine?
