Oakwood College has crossed over into the new Millennium and is off to an excellent start with its focus on value-plus education which translates into Christ in the curriculum. More than 1800 students from 30 states and 40 countries come from around the world to receive a special, unique Adventist education in an ethnic context for which Oakwood is well known. Our committed faculty and staff work together to prepare them for Education, Excellence, Eternity.
The College’s community focus contributes to a well-rounded, quality education. Students from NAPS continue their warmth and witness as they travel internationally to share acts of kindness.
Oakwood College is thankful for its renewed accreditation, a new Business and Technology Complex, and a new Communications Dept. Now we face the challenge of realizing the mission of this residential campus—to provide the necessary housing to bring all of our students back on campus. We have partially addressed this with the new West Oaks Apartments, but still need an additional housing facility and a new Health and Wellness/Student Activities Center.
Our appeal is that you would help us to further realize our dream. God has done much to bring us to this point, and now we forge ahead to meet the residential and recreational needs of our students.
