Welcome to the Merrimack Valley Church! Let us worship together in spirit and in truth.

A Christmas Pageant Rehearsal will be held immediately following the worship service today.

The Youth Bible Study will meet today at 3:00 PM.

The Fall Fun Day will be held Sunday afternoon from noon until 5:00. Join us for a picnic potluck lunch and a variety of fun-filled field games.

The Midweek Connection will meet on Wednesday evening at 7:15 for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

A Spiritual Body Building Class will begin on Friday evening at 7:30. Call Gary & Marge Patch (978-663-4544) to sign up.

Next Sabbath the Pastor's message, Return To Me (Malachi 3:6-12), will launch a three part series of messages on Christian stewardship.

The Pathfinders will meet on Wednesday evening at 6:00. They will also collect canned goods for holiday food baskets this coming weekend, with the bag distribution on Sabbath afternoon, and the collection on Sunday.

An Evening of Enchantment will be shared on Sunday evening, October 27, at 4:30. The "Harvest Moon" dinner will be followed by the annual church talent show.

Membership Transfers: JoAnn Artis to Mount Hebron Church in Wilson, NC; Dan, Marilyn, & Chris Crowe to Ardmore, OK. Second Reading.

Mission Trip: Heidi and Jeff Martella are raising funds to participate in a mission trip to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico. Your contribution can be marked "Martella Mission Fund". Thank you for your support.

Video Bible School: Members interested in assisting in a video lending library ministry with Kenneth Cox presentations will meet for information and training the evening of November 4.

Week of Prayer meetings will be held November 3-9 at 7:00 each evening.

Leadership Needs: Our church is looking for someone to serve as the Sabbath School Superintendent, a position that provides leadership support for the entire Sabbath School Ministries program of the church. Adult Sabbath School leadership is not included in the job profile. We are also looking for an individual or team of members who can serve in our Communications Department to write and distribute news releases to the local media. Interested parties can contact the Pastor.

A Small Groups Ministry training event will be held on October 27 at the Leominster English Church from 9:30 - noon. Don James, from the North American Division Evangelism Institute, will give us an overview of how small groups can help us in our preparation and follow-up of evangelistic meetings.

The Giving Heart: Giving is a spiritual discipline. Giving grows out of our knowing that we do not own anything, and yet at the same time all that God has, has been given to us. And when we have been truly touched by this truth then we cannot help but give. -- Rodney Romney
