This Afternoon the nursing home ministry will make their monthly visits; The Youth Baptismal Class will meet at 3:00.

MVC Evangelism For 2003 moves into high gear with the World to Win Commitment Celebration that will be held this evening at 6:00 in the Stoneham Church. Come enjoy inspiring music, motivational sharing, and the chance to sign up for your evangelistic ministry in the Merrimack Valley in the year to come.

A Baby Shower/Potluck Brunch for John and Jill Hodson will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00.

Pathfinder Events This Week:

  • Camping Skills Training: Sunday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Longaberger Basket Party: Sunday 6:00 - 8:00 pm
  • Pathfinder Meeting. Wear induction dress uniform: Wednesday 6:30 pm

The Church Board will meet on Monday evening at 7:30.

The Midweek Connection will meet on Wednesday evening at 7:00 for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

Next Sabbath our speaker will be Moses Kiragu, a Kenyan pastor who now lives in Lowell. A Fellowship Dinner will follow.

Harvest Moon Tickets for our annual dinner and talent show to be held on October 20 are on sale for 1 more week. Tickets can be purchased from Karen McClendon, Ingrid Mergenthaler, Rita McCall, Marge Patch, and Dale Cady.

The Church Fence is paid for! Thank you for the generosity that made this important project successful. The 8 raised over our expenses will be applied towards the church landscaping project.

A Spiritual Body Building Class will start on October 25. For information contact Gary and Marge Patch.

The Dracut Community Thanksgiving Service will be hosted by our church on Sunday evening, November 24 at 7:30.

MVC Published Authors: Elizabeth Cady Bryner recently had a story published in Insight. Steven Dovich wrote a lesson study for the current Collegiate Quarterly.

A Small Groups Ministry training event will be held on October 27 at the Leominster English Church from 9:30 - noon. Don James, from the North American Division Evangelism Institute, will give us an overview of how small groups can help us in our preparation and follow-up of evangelistic meetings.

A Prison Ministries Training Seminar will be held at the Conference Office on October 20, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. For information so the bulletin board poster or call Bob Hellewell at 860.440.3362

Atlantic Union College invites all High School Juniors/Seniors to an open house on November 1-3, 2002. Worship with our students.
