The Church Elders will meet this coming Thursday evening at 7:30.
Next Sabbath our speaker will be Warren Saxton. The Pastor will be at the Billerica Church.
Secret Sisters will be chosen soon. If you would like to participate, please fill out the form in the bulletin and leave it in the basket in the foyer. You must be 18 or older to participate. This session will run from September 14 through November 16. The Secret Sister Brunch is planned for Sunday, November 17 at 10:00am.
Secret Pals are planned for boys and girls ages 10-17. Boys will choose a secret boy pal, and girls will choose secret girl pals. Fill out the form in the bulletin if you want to participate. Seeds New England: When God creates a team you can be sure you are chosen. Learn how to bring people to Jesus and find joy in service. Enjoy stimulating general sessions lead by Russel Burrill. Choose 4 or 24 break-out sessions. The beautiful setting of Camp Winnekeag is a perfect place to retreat for a while and learn more of Him who said "Follow Me". For more information see www.nadei.org or talk with Andreas Goelzer.
The Giving Heart: The American way of thinking is that we are self-sufficient and that we are responsible for all that we possess. The Bible provides a different perspective, of course: that we are merely the overseers of God's earthly domain, responsible for taking care of His resources until Jesus returns. Getting people to understand and accept our role as managers rather than creators of wealth and resources is a crucial element toward encouraging good stewardship. --George Barna
