Welcome to Worship! Let us see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching. -- Hebrews 10:25/The Message

Vacation Bible School:

Join us for a brown bagger's lunch and final preparation for VBS following the worship service today.
Plants to be used for decorating need to be left at the church today.
A rehearsal for all VBS personnel will be held at 11:00 Sunday morning.
Juice donations are needed all through the week. Joanie Reiss is our refreshment coordinator.
All VBS staff need to report for duty at 6:00 each evening.
The VBS program will be from 6:30 - 8:30 Monday through Friday evening. Graduation services will be held on Friday evening.

The Nursing Home Ministry Team will share a brown bagger's lunch and an afternoon of music and friendship in area nursing homes today.

Next Sabbath our speaker will be Royce Snyman, Associate Ministerial Director for the Michigan Conference. His message, What a Time!, will help us to maintain a spirit of readiness of our Lord's soon return.

A Picnic Style Fellowship Dinner will be served next Sabbath. The menu signup sheet is on the bulletin board.

The Pastor and his family will be away for the next three weeks. Pastoral care needs will be shared by the Elders.

Church Bulletins will be assembled by Steven Dovich for the next three weeks. Please have all bulletin information to him by Tuesday evening of each week.

Baptismal Classes will be held beginning September 6 & 7. Classes for youth will be held on Friday evenings under the leadership of Bob & Sarah Moynihan. Classes for the Juniors will be held on Sabbath afternoons with Sherri Dovich.

The Giving Heart: "I want to tithe," a man told his pastor, "I want to give 10 percent of my income to my church. When my income was $ 50 a week, I gave $ 5 to the church every week. When I was successful in business and my weekly income rose to $ 500 a week, I gave $ 50 to my church every week. But now my income has gone to $ 5,000 a week, and I just can't bring myself to
give $ 500 to the church every week." The pastor said, "Why don't we pray over this?" The pastor began to pray, "Dear God, please make this man's weekly income $ 500 a week so that he can tithe..." --John L. Mand
