Welcome To the Merrimack Valley Church! Today we are pleased to honor the contractors, subcontractors, construction workers, suppliers, and all those who shared in the building of our new church.

The Organ Concert scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to a death in the family of the performer. You will be notified of the new date.

Thank You Church for the wonderful job you did in presenting our church to the community in last Sunday's Open House. While our attendance was impacted by the football game, many fine contacts were made for the church.

The Pathfinders will meet Wednesday evening at 7:00. Wear dress uniforms and be ready for inspection.

Becoming a Contagious Christian will begin this Tuesday evening at 7:30. This 8 week course in friendship evangelism will help you discover your witnessing style, how to turn conversations into witnessing opportunities, how to share your personal testimony, how to make a Gospel presentation, and how to lead your friend to Christ. Contact the Pastor to register.

Next Sabbath will be Pathfinder Day. Our speaker will be Pastor Rob Colon, who is the Youth Evangelist for the Southern New England Conference. The Pathfinders will enjoy events through the afternoon and then will go snow tubing in the evening.

Revisit the Tewksbury First Baptist Church when we present our gift of appreciation at the 10:30 am worship service and host the refreshment table that follows. We encourage as many members as possible to be in attendance.

The Midweek Connection will begin on Wednesday, February 13, at 7:00 under the direction of Gustav Mergenthaler. The evening will include singing, Scripture memorization, a discussion of Little Prayer, Big Prize, and prayer.

The Church Board Meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, February 11. Agenda items need to be given to the Pastor by February 6.

Extra Copies of the New Church Directory are available at the foyer table.

The Compleat Parent Seminar: Every year millions of parents tackle the job of parenthood with no training in how to raise the child responsibly. A literal "School for Parents" where you can learn everything you need to know about parenting but were never taught, will be conducted by leading Family Life Specialist and best-selling author, Nancy Van Pelt. The seminar covers the topics of how to develop feelings of worth in a child, communicate and discipline effectively, build character and motivate irresponsible behavior into responsible. Through the use of humor and personal anecdotes, Nancy will have you laughing at your mistakes while you change to positive parental action. The seminar begins at 7:00 pm on February 15. Cost is $ 30 for couples and $ 20 for individuals. To register call Ingrid Mergenthaler at 603/894-7295.

A Heart To Give: The matter of giving is not to be left to impulse. God wants us to be regular and systematic in our giving. To set aside from our earnings the ten percent tithe first of all. To apportion a regular percentage of our income for the ministries and outreach of the church. To partner with God in special projects such as the retirement of our building project debt. When we are faithful to God in our giving, He will be more than faithful in the blessings poured out upon our lives.
