God referred to Abraham's descendants as a chosen people, and promised that they would be blessed. Yet with this relationship came an obligation, one which was not fulfilled. This week we look at how the covenant promise was contingent on human participation, and the consequences of ignoring that responsibility. We also look at how the continuation of that original promise affects the lives of the spiritual Israel of today.
